I am Where I am

The other day I was having tea with a friend. We were sitting in Panera Bread catching each other up on our current life situations. I was telling her about how crazy my life was in 2019.

(Leaving my corporate career in January, pursuing coaching and speaking full-time, a new Chronic health diagnosis and most recently divorce)

She sat there and listened to me go on and on. Then she said something to me that really stuck. She said, “Karissa, I think your true purpose is to experience all the good, the bad, and the ugly that life has to offer, so that you are able to help others get through their tough times. God has made you a strong warrior my friend and you are a light of inspiration.” Her words were so beautiful and eye opening.

I took a breath, and, in that moment, I realized that YES, I am on the right path. God chose me to be a pillar of strength for those who experience hardships, struggles, and setbacks. God gave me the gift of resiliency, coaching and speaking so that I could help others with their transformations.

Every time I go through a life-changing experience I pick myself up a little something special. A gift to myself that anchors me to that moment. I never want to forget about the good times and the hard times that I have gone through. I also like to be able to look back and see the lessons, aha’s, and take-a-ways from each experience.

Today the universe guided me to two gifts.

The first one: “I am ENOUGH” mantra bracelet! This is a gentle reminder to accept and love myself and to always forgive myself. This moment in my life doesn’t define me and I will be open and willing to accept what is to come. This precise piece of metal reminds me that I am worthy. I am loved. I have enough. I do enough. I am enough.

The second gift: The African Turquoise Bracelet (Stone of Transformation). This gift brings change to my life. It encourages positive energy and increases optimism. As well as helps me make clear decisions moving forward.

Today’s Mantra: I am courageous and overcome my fears by confronting them.

Please remember no matter what you are going through you are never alone. You are stronger than your thoughts and you can overcome any obstacle.
